I am working as an Evangelist in south India among the Banjara (Indian Gypsy) tribes. Most of these people are very poor idol-worshipers and drunkards. Due to their depressed economic condition and the dowry system in our country, they are not giving good care to the female children. In fact, some of them are actually killing or abandoning female babies. The immediate physical and spiritual condition of the girls is at high-risk, and their future is dismal, at best.

As my wife and I are descended from Banjara tribal idol-worshipers, we feel a special burden and kinship with the Banjara people. And as God has blessed our family, we have started a home for Gypsy girls — a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where, by the grace of God, all of their physical needs are met. But more than that, the girls are receiving a proper education, and they are growing strong in the good knowledge of the Lord!

But there remain hundreds of abandoned, abused, and misused children — primarily girls — who need our help. We are praying to God to speak to people's hearts to partner with us in our rescue efforts to bring more "street" children to our home.

In addition to the children's home, we have a house church in our home. We also pastor three other churches among the Banjara tribes.

We are seeing God move on people's hearts, turning them to the One true Living God! But we need your help...
